This Apple Cinnamon Bread starts has a buttery base with fresh apples mixed in and layered throughout with a cinnamon ribbon. It's topped off with a sweet and crunch cinnamon topping for the perfect sweet inspired slice.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
- Combine 1/3 cup of the brown sugar and the cinnamon in a small bowl and set aside.
- With mixer on medium, cream white sugar, remaining 1/3 cup brown sugar, and softened butter until fluffy. Mix in applesauce, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add to the bowl the flour, baking powder, and milk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle with half the chopped apples and half of the cinnamon mixture.
- Stir the remaining chopped apples into the remaining batter and pour4 into the pan. Top with the remaining cinnamon mixture.
- Bake 40 minutes. Brush top with melted butter and return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
