Ingredients
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, and chicken broth.
- Whisk in the minced ginger, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
- Set aside one cup of this marinade, cover it, and keep it in the fridge to use for basting the chicken while it cooks.
- Place the remaining marinade into a large zip-lock bag with the chicken and move the chicken around until it is completely covered by the marinade. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
- Light and lightly oil your grill. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and discard the bag with the marinade.
- To prepare the chicken, place the pieces on the grill and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on one side. Brush some of the marinade that was set aside on top and then flip the pieces over to cook for another 4-5 minutes. Be sure to baste the chicken again during this step. Repeat the process until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165-170 degrees.
