This delightful Cherry Almond Cake with Amaretto is made with a boxed mix and features the rich flavors of Maraschino cherries, almond extract, and Amaretto. Vanilla-Almond Glaze


  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour a bundt pan and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer, mix all cake ingredients except cherries. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Increase speed to medium-high and mix for another 3 minutes. Stir in cherries by hand, spoon batter into prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  4. To make the glaze, in a medium bowl, add sugar, vanilla, and almond extracts. Stir or whisk until smooth. Gradually add milk until the desired consistency is achieved. Drizzle over cooled cake.
