Lemon Cookies for Santa

This lemon cookie recipe is so easy to make. It's just mixing all the ingredients and then shaping the dough into "S" shapes. Bake for 15 minutes and then you have the perfect lemon cookies to leave Santa on Christmas Eve.

Instructions

In a large bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer, beat together the sugar and butter until creamy.
Add all of the remaining ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate dough for 1-2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll about two tablespoons of dough into cylinder shape and then form into "S" shape for each cookie and place on parchment lined baking sheet
Bake in preheated oven for 13-15 minutes. Let cool on wire racks.
