With just four ingredients, you can have a fancy appetizer for your guests. Caramelized onion, Blue Cheese and Fig Palmiers will impress everyone on your guest list.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Roll out puff pastry to 1/4 inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the preserves over the puff pastry leaving a 1/4-inch border around the dough. Place the onions over the preserves and sprinkle with the cheese.
  4. Carefully roll up one side to the center of the dough then do the same with the other long side of the dough making sure they meet in the center. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Slice the palmiers into 1/2-inch slices and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the puff pastry is golden brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly before serving.
